The new (latest) Lemond Bike Company

They will be introducing their new e-bike later this month.

“It’s the future of cycling” according to their Instagram account.

All I see is a comment by someone regarding e-bikes nothing from LeMond. Can you point to or give a quote please?

Thanks

I thought the future was endurance bikes, then it was gravel, and now it's e-bikes. I guess you just can't predict the future.

The original plans were a race, endurance, commuter/sport bike and a road e-bike and commuter/sport e-bike. It's pretty easy to see what they have planned in the line drawings they've have shown online. They had planned to have mock-ups at NAHBS but weren't able to get them done in time. And then of course everything happen end of the World wise so it obviously gave them time to finish things.

Carbon aero road frame.
Internally routed cables/housings.
Integrated stem/bar.
Oversized+ headtube/headset.

Wasn't trying to be cryptic. That's what I get from that line drawing and after talking to them about attending NAHBS.

Whatever it is it isn't cycling.

Disagree completely. I think this is a narrow, purist view that doesn't help anyone. I don't own one, never ridden one, but have seen and heard a number of use cases where they make so much sense. I don't get the purist objections. More people on bikes (even e-bikes) is better for so many things. Why would any cyclist object to them?
