Yes, a good guy. Some years ago I stopped by Bills shop to say hi.
RIP. |

My in-laws had a winter place near Palm Beach. Bill gave me good advice on local training rides. During one visit, we rode together to the Sunday morning hammerfest held in Juno Beach. I appreciated his hospitality very much! RIP!

I knew Bill but not very well.
A great fella and a legend on the A1A Fort Lauderdale - Palm Beach corridor. He ogled over my Hampsten a few times and always shared a fun story from the old days. I passed him with a wave and smile on my last visit. His pink VYNL road bike and handlebar mustache were always a welcome sight on the road. RIP Bill. I found a post on FB from his sister saying she believes he passed away in his sleep as she found him Sunday morning at his home.

oh dang, too sad
reading his FB page where he posted recently about getting first social security check is just crappy icing on a crap cake.
I remember his dog poop thread fondly. |

OMG, he ran a 2:51 in the Boston Marathon 50 years ago. Wow.
RIP, Bill. |
