Shimano 22 gear chain recomendation

I have a newer charge plug 4 cyclocross w shimano and 22 gears need a recommendation for a shimano or compatible chain I see them on ebay but don't know how many links I need .

If you're shopping on Ebay ...and don't know what you need...you're sunk

Hit a decent LBS and they will set you up

Most All chains come with more links that you need. Take off the old, and lay next to new chain, then shorten with proper chain tool..then install. If you don't have the tool, a decent LBS will sell you a chain and install, probably for very little $, and adjust your ders.
'Least expensive compatible chain(and cogset)', they are consumables..big $ chains and cogsets work no better, last no longer than lower end ones(like shimano 105 type)..
