That was a great race - I was pullin' for Ellen but it just wasn't her day. And speaking of not her day - what happened with Katie Keough? I was shocked to never see her in contention.

Katie Keough was never in it from the start. Neither was McFaddin

Tough conditions that seemed to suit the power folks and the long legged runners

Awesome performance by the women!

20 year old Gage Hecht in podium position with a few to go - on a Moots?

That was almost not fun to watch. I mean we all like mud and muck in cyclocross but that was just ridiculous. It was like watching the entire race in slow motion

..which is why I was very very glad I wasn't there.

I DID see some of one of the local shop's team in the crowd during the women's race. Bikenetics' stuff stands out with the pink and green!

I agree. I did want to go but was too out of shape. Plus I was sick as a dog this weekend. But yea that just would have been no fun.

Listening to the broadcast, Shimano brought some Moots bikes as spares for people who couldn't bring multiple bikes.

I checked his Instagram and it appears he's been racing on them for a while. Colorado guy.
