Westminster, MD - Stop, Swap and Save - Feb 9th

I'm hoping to make it down again this year to sell some stuff. http://www.stopswapandsave.com/
Not sure what will make it but I guarantee my Merlin roadie and pre-Trek Lemond will be there ... and probably my Kelly Bonestock. Also a tub or four of misc. parts and such.

Who else is planning to go and what are you bringing?

It's on my radar, but not sure I'll make it this year. Attending as both buyer and seller, I'd say it's definitely more lucrative to buyers. There are some sellers who are the 'collector' types and don't necessarily seem to want to actually sell stuff, but many good deals to be found.

I've never been to this but I bought a small space. Not sure what I'm going to bring but I have a lot of vintage road and touring stuff.

If you have any requests, let me know!

Cool! It's always hit or miss but a good time regardless. The small spaces are indeed small so think about having some height levels to display things.

How do I do that? It looks like it says "Vendors will receive their space locations at check-in on the day of the SWAP. Please check in at the Registration/Admission table to get your space assignment, pay admission and receive any other important information for the day."

Yup, day of you get your spot. The building is large so if you have heavy things have a way to carry/roll them in. I use old skateboards to move my bins

Can anyone comment on whether this is swap meet is primarily bikes and components or do some of the vendors also have soft goods and consumables (clothing, tired, etc).

It's not a far drive...but I'll get myself in trouble if I come home with another bike!

There is a large corral in the center of the building that can hold maybe 150 bikes and it's usually pretty full. Some of the stands have bikes but they are mostly components and apparel. Runs the whole gamut from overstock to vintage to beat up parts/clothes. Deals get better as the day goes on. It's a pretty fun time and there's always some crazy stuff there.

I usually get there when the doors open , make a lap of the whole place, grab any good deals I’m interested, take a break for a hot dog from their lunch room, then make another lap for stuff I missed or want to go back to. Always fun.
