His U23 win was so impressive, and yet hard to recall, given his already earned palmares. If it weren't for Bernal's phenomenal growth, he'd be more talked about. don't know yet if he'll win tours, but he'll win more classics, for sure.

How do you say badger in Flemish?

The kid has an explosive climb. Don't know if he can replicate that strength in a three-week tour, tho

Another impressive effort today. Keeps his overall lead heading into tomorrow’s finale: a time trial which he is expected to win.

Keep in mind there are a bunch of quality riders in the field...Thomas, mollema, Nibali, kwiatkowski, Martin, costa, gesheke, Lopez, etc

He win in the classics.

He can win time trials.

We have not seen his like in a while, and certainly never at this age.

Granted Algarve is not the Tour but the way he dominated both the hilly stages and the TT and there were some legit riders there, I see no reason to doubt that some grand tour wins are in his future.
