Saturday in a single mountain bike ride, i managed to put my first dent in my rim(was 3 years strong before this), scratched the stanchion on my fox fork, and bent my derailleur hanger.. Not a good day at all..

Unhappy

Inner pad adjuster on a TRP Spyre caliper...couldn't turn it to move pad toward rotor and decided to keep up the force hoping it would break free. Instead of breaking loose the allen head just stripped out. Bummer, but guess I can just loosen the caliper bolts and realign it.

I'm about to start building up my new beer bike/commuter this week. I'll be sure to let you know what I manage to break.

Last time I stripped the threads on an old rear dérailleur, and that was that... Had to go to Ebay and overpay for a replacement. Oh, and I cracked one of those weird curved rear break bridge nuts you see on old frames. I had to go to the LBS and root around in a giant box of random screws and nuts to find a replacement.

Some lessons you have to learn the hard way. Don't overtighten screws!

That’s some impressive hip flexor mobility. Someone’s been doing yoga in between IPA sessions. 😂

Yes, but factory defect on the head itself, the hex 'cutout' wasn't more than 2mm deep on the 8mm deep total depth.
