Very valid point.
I think if Seafoam, older "block" font.

If Root Beer, new font.

Celeste isn't even Celeste. It's changed several times over the years.

As the original owner of a 1978 Gios (when blue was the only option), I admit that I sometimes wish I had a fully chromed one, that IMO is the only valid alternative.

Another vote for seafoam, though that seafoam to pink fade is super nice.

Consensus seems to be seafoam. And I well know, that if I go for that Boot Beer brown I will always look at it and think "I should have went seafoam"
But still, love that Root Beer Brown with the gold logos. Man I dig it.
Again, sleepless nights.....
That glossy boot beer with gold logos and some gold anodized bits is the way to go!

Truly it is. I keep hoping to come across a used one that is my size when I have the funds to buy one. Been close to getting a new one a few times, but sadly never have. This thread isn’t helping any as I have more bikes than I should already.

Very cool.

The water bottle cage anodizing gives me an idea - I wonder if they could do varying colors on the DT decal letter blocks?

Hold on, I need to pick up my jaw off the floor. Amazing.

I vote for Seafoam--just seeing the bike will remind you that you finally got the Rock Lobster you always wanted. It's classic. Silver Porsche, Red Ferrari, Yellow Lamborghini, etc.

Nick I totally did not know you had a lobster. Love it. Love that you went canti brakes and Ekar. Question tho I'm just curious; do I see a barcon? Why the barcon when you have the paddle on the shifter? Do you ride in the drops a lot? Is it an ergonomic thing or is there a mechanical reason?

If you look closely you'll see that the ergos are not Ekar, they're older ones without shift guts.

As you probably know, Ekar is hydro braking only, so the levers would not work with canti brakes. The set-up is friction shifting with a bar end, interestingly the ekar RD works great with a friction shift set-up. The levers are old gen Athena EPS that I got cheap. I like the ergonomics, and playing with the switches (which do nothing...) while riding is sort of addicting in a fidget toy kind of way
