Good good good, good bike smells.

I bought some new Conti 5000’s today. Opened them up and immediately noticed the distinct smell of Continental tires. Made me think, Veloflex tires smell good. So does NFS. Being a diesel mechanic by trade and in the business over 30 years is why. Anyone else have some bike product you dont mind the smell of.

Oh, tire mastic when gluing cross tires in the basement too. Different effect though.

The one for me is the back shop area of shops that have been around for a lot of years. The greese, oil, rubber, erc smell seems to permeate the places.

I love the smell of dumonde in the morning. It smells like...

You really can't beat the smell of fresh tires. On the other hand, there are quite a few "fragrances" that I work hard to avoid. The gloves go in the wash with the jersey and bibs.

I second the Tri-flow. something about it makes me happy.

And tires too, but I don't think I can specify which brand does it for me as its been a while since I took new tires out of the package on the reg

The original Campag grease.

Ideale leather saddles. I had a Mod. 80 on a Moto back in the day, and my new Mod. 90 smells exactly the same.

If I’m getting the bike ready for a trip I usually check it out well, clean the chain and apply fresh Pro-link. I pack the car up the night before. When I get in the car in the morning to head out the smell of the Pro-link, my tea and bagel just feels like the perfect way to start the adventure.

The smell of a fresh bar of surf wax or a new wetsuit always gets me hyped.

The smell of Castrol 2-stroke oil from a motocross bike still gives me an instant jolt of adrenaline.

I'll see you the Tri-flow aroma and raise you a 3-in-1 oil. No idea why I like that smell. Maybe because it reminds me of my adolescence and just screwing around with mechanical things. Brakleen and Gum-Out too.
