Awesome photos! Hope you make it, remember riding with you several times at the old Serotta Open Houses. Plus the Friday night Crumhorn mountain road loop about 3 years ago, first time up it I think. I remember you extolling the virtues of the climb to our host when you reached the top

I rode Crumhorn Mtn. today in case Dave's tragically empty suitcase of courage was left there.
I didn't turn anything up.
I'll hit Bedbug next week...

Outline

So here's the rough outline of the weekend.
I will have full details out to the usual suspects in a few days via PM and email.......feel free to PM or email me if you are new and even thinking of coming so I can get you addresses and phone numbers.

Friday: Ride around or in the proximity of Otsego Lake. We are using daylight fast so I would like to start at 4 pm. Probably from Brewery Ommegang with dinner to follow.

Saturday: Morning ride from the lake house. 3 or 4 hours, mostly dirt roads. Yes we are doing Panther Mountain. Maybe twice....... Then a big pot luck. Bring food/drinks/desserts.

Sunday: Morning ride from our house in Hartwick. I laid out a new loop and it's going to be great. Same distance, mostly dirt. Remember you have to get back up to my place at the end.

It's all casual and conversational riding and nobody gets dropped.
Lots to do in the area for the non-riders.
Hope you come join us.

I'm following the weather forecast carefully for this weekend.
Friday is a slam dunk, perfect day.
And we may get really lucky on Saturday, with rain arriving in the afternoon after our ride, and over with before we go out Sunday morning.
But yes definitely bring some warm kit.
It was 28F here Saturday morning.

Little heads up on the cabin at the lake.
The shower is not draining. Nor is the kitchen sink and its' going to take some excavation to fix and it wont be done by the weekend.
The toilet and bathroom sink are fine.
So we can't really shower there post ride Saturday.
Washing up in the bathroom sink is fine......and of course there's the garden hose outside!
You could also jump in the shower for just a minute and then we wait an hour for it to drain.

Even better though is the weather is now looking perfect. Few showers overnight Saturday should do it for rain.
