Campy Disc Rotors + Sram HRD caliper => how to fix noise

I hope somebody can recommend a fix to the noise issue I have when i use Campy rotors with Sram road HRD disc calipers.
I recall somebody saying that switching pads helped. Can anybody recommend a better set of pads to deal with noise issue when applying braking force?
Thanks!

Not sure if this is of any help but I have campy rotors with Paul klampers that are silent. Paul klampers come with kool stop pads (the basic ones), is there a kool stop that fits the sram caliper?

Do they rub or is it just noisy when applying the brakes?

Have you tried the old paper around the rotor and squeeze the brakes trick while the caliper is loose then tightening it for a touch of extra clearance?

I have not tried the Campagnolo rotors yet, but have used this trick with ice tech to Sram calipers and it seems to have helped with some of the rubbing and noise after the pads bedded.

not sure your problem is a combo thing. I have run that setup on a few bikes and no crazy noises. They did feel way better on a campy setup though but that is a different issue ahah I would say, give everything a nice clean and bed em again.

For pads I run both dtswiss and sram pads, people say the dt swisses are so much better but I really did not find that, they both work about the same in my experience.

Yeah I feel it’s a question of pads.
No rubbing. Calipers are set up ok.
Just a very noisy action when applying brake force.

I figured maybe chasing pads to something like dtSwiss RS organic might improve.

Thanks for all the feedback

Did you use these pads with a different rotor prior? If so, sanding them down may do the trick.

That said, SRAM brakes are just a bit noisy in my experience. Switching to an organic pad if you're using sintered might help.

May be a bit pricey, but I’ve had great success with Swisstop Exotherm II pads and Swissstop rotors. Silent braking.

This is common issue with Sram brakes - seems they havent fully grown out of their Avid roots.... Switch the pads first.
