Check E Bay. Lots of used ones. Sometimes new old stock Record or Chorus Triples. BB available there new also. 111 Asymetrical. Phil Wood also. 172.5 little harder to find.

There is an auction on NOS 172.5 or 175 (description says 172.5, crank showing says 175) 30-42-53 going on now. Might go at a reasonable price.

I think the component that's hardest to find is the front derailleur. The long cage rd, shifters & bb are easy to find, either from retailers or the bay. I have all of a group except the FD; I settled for a CompTriple FD and steel wooled the logo off.

Record Triple FD, Chorus Triple FD, Centaur Triple FD, Comp triple FD, all the same. Veloce is same except for cclip. I know....I've got a Record Triple FD and Centaur triple FD. Cage separates from clamp, like the older Campy double FD's.

Is the old Record triple BB the same as the current Pista BB? Both are supposed to be 111mm asymetrical.

This current Pista is symetrical. Probably work with Centaur 111 also.....except no seals.

I always thought the current pista was symmetrical till I was browsing the site a couple days ago:

You are correct....I am wrong. That E Bay sellor is wrong.

From the pic, it looks like the extra length is on the non drive side. I have always thought the extra length on my Record Triple BB is on the non drive side. Not sure. Wonder if that pic is turned right.

I always thought they were symmetrical and the difference in appearance was an illusion caused by the flange on the DS cup. Like I said, I just recently noticed the reference on the campy page.

You missed Daytona!

I have one of each, all the same as you said. The screw and circlip bodies are interchangeable too. I put a Record triple FD on a Veloce 28.6 clamp body for my Kirk.

I've got 2002 Record Triple on the Bedford ...

Still runs flawlessly.

Nice frame. But the threadless conversion is... hideous.

Yeah.. I just scrolled down.. yuck. That frame would probably be better served with a black threaded precisa fork and something like this on top

http://www.ebay.com/itm/pantographed...vip=true&rt=nc

Still, the frame is lovely.
