Campy 36 tooth chainring

Bought a used Campy carbon compact and would like to swap out the 34 for a 36 chainring.

Is there a difference between the Record chainring and the new CX chainrings?

Is there an alternative to Campy chainring bolts?
One broke and a set is $80+.

Finally, and perhaps a little OT, this used crank had a seized chainring bolt that broke when trying to remove it. Am I expecting too much thinking the chainring bolts should come apart?

Thanks.

If you read the Campy warranty slip that comes with their components they make it sound like mismatching anything may result in death, but the truth is that any set of chainring bolts will do (unless it's one of the hidden arm chainring bolts).

Chainring bolts on this Campy are unique. The hole in the spider is a smaller diameter. Campy alloy crank bolts from the same era will not work.

Is there a company website for KCNC?

If it's UT and I'm assuming it is, they work fine.

I buy from here: http://fairwheelbikes.com/kcnc-campa...ts-p-1993.html

Seen on Ebay too, a bit cheaper, but I hate over seas shipping.
