Sunday weather is looking perfect too. Temps are going to cool off a bit from what we're having this week. Looking forward to it!
Anyone else IN?

Have been looking at routes, will probably be a pretty chill ride minus Mt Riga... However, Mt Riga is a 1400ft climb it is a nice long climb, you are pretty much doing 3-5% the whole time and there are a lot of nice rest spots which are almost mandatory, its a beautiful place. I will post the route either today or tomorrow. edit - I have the day off and should probably be doing stuff around the house but planning this sounds a lot more fun. The famous Suarez family brewery is about 15 minutes by car from where I think we should be parking so maybe we finish up the ride and drive there and have some beers. I have always wanted to go, everyone is always telling me how amazing that place is. Last edited by R3awak3n; 06-27-2019 at 08:50 AM. |

Ok, I think I got something good here - Route - https://ridewithgps.com/routes/30387133 Not too bad, 50 miler, 4500ft up. Should be a nice mix of pavement and gravel. Riga and Mt Washington. Parking will be here - I have never parked there but found the map of the state park and looked for parking and said parking is free. Places to stop and get water/food - Salisbury, CT - Stoped there last time, got a slice of Pizza and was pretty damn good. Right before Riga so nice place to fuel up. This is about mile 25. Copake, NY - Around mile 40. Seems to have a few restaurants and grocery stores, ect. 3 State ride, who else is in? I was thinking start at 9am (meet there 8:45, leave at 9) ? What you think Nick? |

3 states, 2 mountains, dirt roads and a brewery stop? what's not to love?
sounds perfect. you're going to have to give me a little better hint at how to find the parking lot though than that screenshot

weather is looking intereting. 50% thunderstorms. I don't mind a shower here and there but lets hope that is it. Temperature is nice, high of 75. Probably the last weekend of under 90 degrees lol Last edited by R3awak3n; 06-27-2019 at 08:12 PM. |

The address of New Forge State Forest was right on the website, staring right in my face
https://www.google.com/maps?daddr=42.105796,-73.672797 Is everyone ok with meeting there at 8:45 and start the ride at 9 sharp? |
