I can't get excited about a bike that has yet to be ridden because it's so precious. What good are these components if they're too special to actually use them?
OK, a little rant there, but you know what I mean?

It's catch 22.

Gets played out every day on our classifieds.

Bike for sale: super low miles, in pristine condition, hardly ever ridden

PSA: rode hard, well used, got the usual dings and scratches, full disclosure, but still fully functional

Former : amazing deal
Latter: give us pause

Make up your mind!

Do you want me to ride my bike OR NOT!!!!???

That's the reason why I don't sell my bike here.
No way!

There were some "supered" parts I believe, but i'm positive the polish was (much) higher than on a standard DA.

btw: Grandis with full 25th for sale on german Ebay local ads:
https://www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/s-...42530-217-3396

Grandis and Zullo rank, alongside with Chesini, high on my personal desireometer....

from what I remember reading, it was high polish, 25th anniversary logo and some titanium bolts are the differences.

Gorgeous! Even though I am firmly a Campy guy, I have always loved the aesthetics of 9-speed Dura-Ace, and the 25 Anniversary group is basically just a nicer, higher-polished version of that.

Wow... that groupset looks like jewelry! I thought Dura-Ace hit its aesthetic pinnacle at 8-speed, but that set still looks cool.

9 speed (7700) was the last Dura-Ace group that did look like a 70's scifi movie set.

A little '25' didn't make it more eye-catching, IMHO..

Of COURSE I'll disagree as a 'collector'..
I always thought the 50th Anniv rear mech looked like too much like a trussed up Gran Sport. Eye of the beholder I guess...

Yes, the DA group looks really nice. I still have a formidable stash of 9-speed stuff. Comparing between Ultegra and DA, my only gripe is with the shifters. DA 9-speed shifters require a bit more finger pressure to actuate than Ultegra and for that, I prefer Ultegra.
