their nicer wheels use DT star-ratchet internals.

their less-nice wheels use KT, typically.

Depends on the wheel era, but nowadays:

Normal Reynolds wheels get Industry 9-designed hubs with 36 POE. Looks to be Industry 9 internals with a hub shell and other portions designed by I9 but manufactured by Reynolds or their OEM partners

Black Label get full Industry 9 hubs with more PEO (60 or 120). These are the ones made fully in NC. Nicer shells, different class of sealing design, more POE.

Earlier Reynolds wheels used some full DT Swiss and I9 hubs, and sometimes used DT internals for their higher-end offerings. The standard Reynolds hubs were KT, although they were somewhat finicky as the design was reversed from normal pawl/ratchet interfaces. The pawls were in the body while the ratchet was on the freehub.

WI hubs are indeed great, but the new I9 designed ones are nothing to sneeze at and WAY easier to service - at least in disc form.

what yinzerniner said... both mine have i9 designed hubs... so far, they have been excellent...

The AR41 wheelset did come out of dish... I did not notice it when I got the wheel but 4 months later I put it on a bike with less clearance and wheel was offset, checked dish and was 2mm off dish... kind of lame. I fixed it and all is good now.
