The Old Serotta Club Series

Rare in the fact that their not many of these left. Serial # bs256. Early to Mid Seventies, I never could find out exactly when it was made.

I have a Serotta Atlanta Concept that was built for use by the Ukrainian National Team in the Tour DuPont. It's a precursor to the Atlanta model that came out in 1996 I think. Dave Kirk probably built it and the serial number says it's No. 004. Don't know how notable it is, but the particular model is rare and it rides nice. There's a thread on it in the Custom section.

1974 Zeus Professional, I sold it new from the bike shop I worked at, later the gal that bought it decided racing wasn't for her, I bought it from her. It's all original except for the clips and straps, the rims and spokes, and chain. The new rims have never even had tires glued on. Original pump, saddle, 5 speed 14-22 freewheel, Zeus 2000 centerpull brakes etc. Durifort tubing. The cellphone pic was with different wheels after a ride, yes I do occasionally ride it.

My Llewellyn is pretty obscure in that I have only ever seen three others, one in Melbourne and two here in Perth, and one of those I've seen on two separate occasions. I rather like the exclusivity to be honest

Aaaahhhhhh, but are you in Australia??? I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine. Best money I've ever spent on cycling.

I also have my wife's old Ricardo from back in the days when even mass-produced bikes used to have lugged steel frames. There used be thousands and thousands, but not many around these days.

Great thread? Not rare compared to a lot of the bikes posted here, but the holy grail for me...1989 JP Weigle.

Weigle

Probably the rarest around out of my three everyday bikes.

yo! post up a pic of the JPW in mustache bar configuration so folks can appreciate that too. I've seen both and yes, rare, coveted, mind-blowing. No other way to say it than absolutely perfect.
