Sealing Kyrsium valve hole

Anyone have any suggests for sealing the valve stem hole?
Need to do this to keep water out of the rims - that slows me down a bit.
I was using a tube with a threaded stem and lock nut, teflon tape worked well - now using a Michelin tune unthreaded.
I just need to make sure there no gap - i'm thinking of a very small washer or even rubber cement.
Any advice is appreciated!

How about an appropriate sized thin rubber washer, on the stem between the tube and rim? Can be reused in case of flats, etc. Great assortments of said washers can be found at decent hardware stores.

Any good hardware store . . .

. . . is also going to have a good selection of rubber O-rings. One of those stuck on the valve stem inside the rim might work even better.

Just keep in mind I've read several places and seen from my own experience that water getting in the rim is a problem with Ksyriums, but I can't be sure that all that water is getting in just through the valve hole. It might also be getting in around the spokes--or do those even penetrate the rim? Can't remember without taking my tire off.

i like the O-ring idea - will look into this. i think the issue is mostly the valve stem hole - after i used teflon tape on the last set of tubes no worrys.
Also occured to me that i've used hemp string to seal bagpipes, this might work if i can't find the right size O-ring.

Hmmm . . .

Isn't hemp string on the UCI's list of prohibited valve hole sealing substances?
