Good morning looking to refresh my moots bike stickers does anyone recommend a good aftermarket shop for colors other than the normal red/black/green... has anyone ordered from Ailiexpress? Thank you

I think I’ve seen https://www.carstickers.com/ recommended here before. I’d love to dig up vector images for the decals on my Gunnar.

Seems strange to buy a Moots and then shop for bits on Aliexpress.

Yeah, I only order my stickers from a small artisanal shop in l'Italia where they're hand cut by Giorgio, a 84yo master vinilidecalista.

I'm not suggesting that.

Just if I owned a Moots and wanted to replace the stickers, I would want to go with the most reputable provider of those stickers. That's not Aliexpress to me.

Surely you've asked Moots?

Otherwise there are companies who make custom decals for marine, motorcycle and car racing.

Do the moots stickers just suck like the Serotta ones did?

I think I replaced my Serotta stickers every 2 years while I had it. They did change to a new type of sticker at some point, hopefully stuff has gotten better.

I would call Moots for sure though.

I would not buy another stickered up Ti frame at this point. Brushed or paint at those price points, it's just not acceptable to have stickers flaking off a bike that expensive.

its a bit hard to get paint to stick on Moots' trademark ball-blasted Ti surface

They never did painted panels where they didn't do the ball blasting on the portions they were going to paint as panels?

That stuff was expensive but I believe it's what Serotta did.

I got stickers explicitly because a $3600 frameset was already totally ridiculous for me financially in 2007 before paint charges were added.

I bought replacement stickers for my Seven, but decided I liked the subtle approach better.

..but then again I've debadged virtually every car I've owned since the '80s.

The ones on my 20 year old SL have lasted and stuck very well, they are very thick and sticky.

A few years ago, someone here shared a really cool panel sticker with a link to a supplier they did for a moots, unfortunately I can't find it anymore.
