Yes I saw that

You know the whole idea of having something for practice then remove for race seems a bit insane to me.
I mean practice is to practice what is ....then they change it??

Exciting but odd hahah

Next time they should change something every lap
Tell them but see if they remember heheheh

Would be cool to change the last turn from left to right...give 2nd place a chance to maybe pass if 1st goes wrong

The ramp was there because the course was wet and that jump was marginal in normal conditions. She said the rider in front of her braked hard at the top of the ramp and she couldn't avoid going around. Amazing she landed it though. There were hard feelings.

The other rider had a slo-mo disaster of a crash on the steep uphill right afterwards. Not that Neff had anything to do with it. Chose to crash for sure instead of trying something that might not work.

Jolanda is known for her mad MTB skillz. I would venture say say she was intending to go down the ramp but in a split second had to reroute. Regardless, She made the feature and he didn’t. May not be apples to apples but it’s definitely pome fruit to pome fruit.

They took radically different lines. And she landed much shorter than he did.

One realized they needed to lean back and pull back in a split second, one tensed up and didn’t react to the situation. One won the gold medal and one DNF.
