Ekar quick link/C-link sources?

I want to get some spare C-links for waxing my chain, but I'm only finding 1 for $22-25. Anyone know of where I can get them for less? Real ones, of course.

I bought some from Excel sports, but they were still $20/each. It seems a bit ridiculous when you can get a new chain for $40, and I think they come with 2 links?

I am a chain waxer and have 3 chains in rotation with well over 15k miles between the three of them, and they just refuse to wear themselves out.

I don't think you understand. Campy is a premium product. It's the Rolex of components. A $20 quick link is a feature.

Last year I got two Ekar chains from different sources and they both came with 2 links. If that's how they ship, it's probably better to just get a new chain. Mine also are not showing wear and are waxed.

How many times have you reused the link? I have done it a couple of times and it seems fine.

I am also a chain waxer and find this chain to be solid.

I reuse the link more than I should, but haven't had an issue. Usually I reuse it until it becomes easy enough to reconnect with by just using my hands, if I need to use my chain pliers to connect it I will keep using it.

For a big event/race I will use a fresh one, and throw the old one in my repair kit.

I'm thinking 3-4 times, which honestly might be the life of the chain

I have 2 chains that I rotate and have about 7K miles on one and 5K on another. Both are well within the 132.6 measurement from Campag. I am re-waxing every 1000 miles and generally top up with drip wax for the last 200-300 miles. I have used the same C-link but have spares that I carry with me. So far, so good!

Also, on a side note, I like to buy all my Campag stuff from Condor.

And lastly, don't feed the trolls.

He was making a point about cost, not directing you to links that work with EKAR.

I use the Connex stuff for my H11 system.

Not my point..I was mentioning that there are other snap links that are not cheap, like the EKAR 13s one and yes, I was wrestling with that 'pig'.
