Weird you get no rim tape or QR.

In the end a set of wheels for $130ish was a damn good deal
Wow! Any idea on weight, width, etc? I probably should have jumped on them.

This stuff is all OEM surplus (the dreaded "grey market" that is often maligned when it comes from the UK, or celebrated when it comes from The Pro's Closet)--you get a great deal, but you give up on some of the retail accessories and packaging.

My final order of wheels, two pair of the 35's, arrived today by FedEx, once again in perfect condition from this carrier.

As before, the wheels look great but with less than perfect tensioning, which I won't bother adjusting until they are going into service.

I really agree with Duvivr6 that these were a great deal, thanks again to BLD 25 for outing them!

My other good deal for this holiday season came from Goodwill today in the form of a Redline cyclocross bike in little-used condition for just $90 and no tax.
Ok it's 3cm too small for me, and as a 2003 model it's not such a high-value acquisition.
The heavy-duty, compound-leverage loppers were my other purchase, along with a nice, stainless-steel ladle in the handlebar bag.
Made for an interesting sight as I ran (both tires were flat) the three miles back home along hwy49 carrying what looked like bolt-cutters.7.jpg

I got my raceface bar, it’s a flat bar not a riser that was advertised but I’ll find a use for it or sell it. Shipping was quick once it actually shipped.

I've had no luck getting through to the House about my order. I'm certain there was a screw up and despite getting charged, they're not shipping me the 50mm rim brake wheelset I ordered. Bummer, I was excited to try them.

Yeah, getting a hold of them is nearly impossible.

I purchased a Shimano R7000 mini group for $250. All was shipped on time during the holidays. They then sent me a $50 gift certificate! Thanks for the lead.

Used my $50 coupon for a set of flat pedals and a chain for the cost of tax and shipping.

Thanks to BLD.

This post has turned out great! Just ordered some almost free items with my $50 and a 15% coupon.

Anyways took a closer look at the 35s.

Box is wheelmaster branded, if that gives any clue who built them?

Front: 746gm
Rear: 908gm
Width, out 24m/in 19mm. Estimated used calipers but still.

Got mine in yesterday and put them on a bike. Just a quick spin before dark but seem solid. They brake about as expected but I only reached ~17 mph so we’ll see soon.

I picked them up to replace the dura ace wheels I had on this to sell the bike. We’ll see what happens but will likely get a few rides on them first
