This looks better: Enve Aero Road Stem

Just got a marketing email -- looks far less chunky than the traditional enve stem

Reminds me of the baby alien that bursts out of the human stomach.

Looks like the old ITM Moray stem with the shim adjustable angle. That price hurts.

Same here.

And I realize aero is often at odds with weight savings, but 170g for a 100mm? That's not porky, no. But, my old 90mm Ritchey WCS aluminum stem with steel bolts weighs less than 100g.

Hell, even a $20 Kalloy stem only weighs 107g for a 100mm.

But the Enve stem is laterally stiff and vertically compliant.

A $300 not-so-light stem seems like the perfect thing for someone who spent $9000 on a not-so-light Ottrott frameset.

Sometimes Paceline can be a bit schizophrenic in its loves and condemnations.

enve is smart... a lot of people running their forks (which are excellent) so then they get caught on the, I want the matching seatpost, the phallic handlebars and now they can match with the limp dick stem.
