Shout out to Lakecycling shoes CS.

Pretty impressed with lakecycling's customer service. I have had a pair of lake shoes for just under a year and have put about 7000 miles on them and they cracked along the rear heal seam. I sent a photo to Lake and they sent out a new pair pronto. crazy thing is I bought these on their close outs for $100 and they did not have the right size any longer so they upgraded me to the cx219 which are $249. not sure I have ever gotten service like that before.

Great to hear! I'm researching Lake shoes now because of my wide feet. How do you like the cx219? Did you get it in reg or wide? Any noticeable issues w/ 1 boa vs 2?

they are going to be delivered tuesday according to fed ex. I had the CX1 lace ups and I have wide feet and was using the regular width and they are super comfortable on 100 mile rides. Lake told me that the CX219's are the exact same lasts and will fit the same. I were TOPO and KEEN shoes because of the wider toe box.

I’ve got the cx238 and very wide feet. They fit great. And they a great shoes on top of the fit. I love them.

i gotta say they fit exactly the same as the lace up shoes and are a little lighter but super comfortable right out of the box. slapped some new cleats on and took a 50 mile ride in them and they felt great.

I got my first pair of Lakes last week (CX238) and absolutely love them. The slightly wider shoe + carbon platform, heat molded heel and adjustability from the boa dials is great. It's nice to hear their CS is good as well. Their measuring guide online worked perfectly for me.

Coming from Specialized Torch 3.0 and was in search of something a bit more "neutral" as a base. I also really like how far you can take the cleats back, the markings on the bottom of the shoe make adjusting a lot clearer as well.

I just ordered my CX238's last night with the sale at a steal. I just hope the size is correct because they only allow exchanges for the sale items. Measuring my foot on a paper just doesn't feel scientific so I went with what I knew from my fitting and what I current wear (Fizik, which are a tad small). I'm looking forward to this!

I’ve had great warranty service as well from Lake.

Currently have 238 road and 242 mtb…both are excellent!

I have the CX238 and really like them. The really nice thing is Lake, for a $60 up charge, you can get different size right/left. For example i use a 42 left, 42.5 right. In my case, well worth it.
