Another new Dateline on Mo Wilson

On NBC now. I’m curious to see what is new from last two Datelines.

Journalism at its worst. Network bosses realize it is cheaper to produce true crime rehash than a new program or cover real news.

I'll call it what it is murder news as entertainment which I find disgusting.

Agree 100%. When I heard Armstrong’s lawyer peddling BS rationale for her actions, I changed the channel.

I watched the whole thing. The lawyers comments were pretty silly, especially the ones he seemingly made before trial and before the escape attempt. He should have said nothing aside from that he would try the case in Court and not in the media.

The losers on the show, apart from Mo of course, were the defense lawyer and Colin Strickland, who came off as a dope who doesn’t garner much sympathy. I thought the end, suggesting in essence that Strickland also was a victim, was complete nonsense. What was even more clear this time around was that Kaitlin Armstrong is a sociopath. Her demeanor during the police interviews was pretty incredible.

I can’t fault Dateline. The whole story is tragic, but people certainly are interested. We here at The Paceline certainly were captivated and followed the trial closely.

This is what Dateline is. True crime, repackaged and sensationalized.
