This is an unlikely candidate (for me) for coolest bike of 2018. It is just so beautiful and purposeful. And it has Super Record. ahhhhhhhh.....

Personally, I'd remove and reinstall that lower headset cup so it's centered.

Glad I wasn't the only one thinking that.

Some of you may not understand but one thing I dont like about this frame is the 31.6 seat tube with the 27.2 seat post, it just looks off to me. It would look much better if they cotinued the flow of the 31.6 seat tube with a 31.6 seat post.

So thats what I did, I added a 31.6 seat post by sliding it over the top of a peice of a 27.2 seat post tube.

It looks better in my mind but I still need to ride it and see how it feels.

1st photo with the 27.2 seat post

Next set of photos with the 31.6 seat post

Interesting. Would love to hear in more detail how this works? I kind of like the look better with the 27.2, gives it that light streamlined look.

Sweet ride!

Currently it does slide around a bit, once the 2 parts a glued together to become one it will not.

Its just 2 seat posts parts, pretty simple really.

The nice thing is its just a fun for me change that I can change back at anytime.

To my eye, and it may be camera angle, the 31.6 seems a bit too much. Any way you could get to a 30.9 post? I think visually that would really complement the overall look.

Yes in the photo it does look to me that the seat post is a bit much, size wise its 31.6 and the seat tube is 32.

I think the reason the seat post looks bigger is that its painted black and the rest of the carbon tubes are nude.

If I end up liking this then I will sand the paint off the UD carbon seat post so its a better match.

The coolest thing would be to get a matching carbon tube from Seven and make a seat post out of it.

They used to make one with Wound Up. Forks too. But it's pretty much not what you're looking for. 27.2, setback, heavy.
