Really nice and very well put together. It looks like you went away from the Berk one piece saddle post combo. Just curious, why? And what were your impressions of it? Thx!

Thank you! Does ride really nice. Went away from the Berk bits as they are too $$$ for the type of riding I had planned with this bike. Sold them on ebay and they are off to the far east. Plus couldn't try out the Rapha saddle which I love!

Felt good to get outside before the storm for some sunny, muddy miles.

That's what makes N+1 so interesting. Now that you've built up that gorgeous C50, you need to find yourself a good winter beater. Maybe a Colnago Prestige.

One challenge with the C50 is that tire clearances are pretty tight. On my C50 I'm running Conti 4000 25mm tires and they are just a bit too close to the chain stays for comfort. Really should be riding 23mm Contis, or another brand 25s... (the Contis are sized large...)

Thanks for the kind words. My other bike I am now currently building up is a Serotta Ottrott. https://forums.thepaceline.net/showthread.php?t=232892

For tires on the C50 I am running Schwalbe Pro One 25mm setup Tubeless on the Shamal Ultra.

How do you like the ultra’s w tubeless versus tubes? Also wondering about your thoughts on shamals versus boras? I assume your shamals are the c17?
