That Sachs looks to be in excellent shape, but I’d prefer Jason Bourne’s name on the tt.

Bill Davidson Signature handbuilt custom 1x9 Crit bike 54cm - $350 (Portland)

Bill Davidson Signature handbuilt custom 1x9 Crit bike 54cm - $350 (Portland)
https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/...230407770.html

Purchased this 4 years ago as a project bicycle and never actually made any progress on it. It's not in pristine condition, but the frame itself is a work of art and worth alone nearly as much if not more than my asking price.
Black frame with yellow detailing. Columbus SL tubing, Campy brakes, Shimano 600 group/hubs. Rest of the parts are a mix: MKS GR-9 pedals, Dura Ace shifters, Modolo bars. Rather firm on $350, as I paid significantly more, but offer and the worst I can do is say no!

Original photo from when I purchased it.

I hope to sell this to a discerning bicyclist that appreciates hand built old world craftsmanship in a modern execution. This is a 58 cm Wilier Superleggera Ramato bicycle made in Italy from Columbus SL tubing. It features the unique copper cromovelato finish that Wilier is famous for.

Everything on this bike is 200 miles from new with the exception of the wheels. The bike presents itself as new and rides like a dream.

Here is a breakdown of the build:
- 58 cm Wilier Superleggera frame and fork made from Columbus SL tubing.
- Campagnolo 12 speed Chorus groupset.
- Chorus 52x36 175mm crankset.
- Chorus 12 speed brake/shift levers.
- Chorus 12 speed rear derailleur.
- Chorus 12 speed front derailleur.
- Chorus 12 speed skeleton brakes.
- Record threaded headset.
- Nitto S63 seat post.
- Cinelli 110mm threadless stem.
- Cinelli 42cm handlebars.
- King Iris bottle cages.
- Fabric carbon saddle.
- Campagnolo Shamal Ultra 2 way fit wheels in the rare titanium finish.
- Paul Components skewers.
- Chorus 12 speed 11-32 cassette.
- Panaracer 26mm Gravelking tires with brown sidewalls.

Would consider selling without wheels for $2500.

I so agree. I have no issues with the modern group on old steel but in this case that does not work. At least, not for me.

I think I would swap the calipers for some mint record record 10 differential brakes in silver and call it a day.

Edit:
Oh, and silver record 10 skewers.

would look better with 11 speed over 12. That crank just sucks with skinny tubes.

Pretty sure I posted this one before. I have, because the 1st photo kicked back. Annoying.

Very underrated builder. Welds on mine are crazy clean!

Looks like Mini-Max frame with Henry James fork crown and dropouts. Chris King 2nuts are going for a large chunk of the by it now price.

Probably a little high, and I’m guessing most people willing to pay for the Baum name aren’t going to settle for a used one. I think $5500-6k isn’t terribly far off from comparable frames.
