This one belongs in 'that other' sales thread, if you get my drift.

Any Paceliner snag this? Hope so. If it was my size, I sure would have paid $891 for it.

I know Cinema was interested. It was on my watch list, but I was able to resist. Someone sure got a nice ride.

NOS 63cm Serotta Colorado steel frame. This must've been sittin' in a barn alright.

JB did painting for Serotta? Maybe this was refinished and not quite NOS.

i did place a bid on the vicious cycles, didnt get it but it still went for a very fair price. 1000$ or so with tax is not bad but i’d already be replacing stuff immediately. so i decided not to take it on. would become a $couple g project for me at the closing price so i resisted as well

Yea, I bought the model with Stronglight cotterless cranks and Weinman center pulls in 1972, One below the top of the line that had Campy brakes. Can't remember if that one had Stronglight or Campy cranks.

My bike retailed at $285 in '72. The model up was $385.

These bikes are worth $150-200 each if cleaned up and overhauled, and only because used bikes are in high demand right now. A year ago, they would have been worth $75.

That Renaissance is about the rarest bike you'll ever see from a major OEM. I've only ever seen 1 in the wild, and only 1 ever come up for sale in the city where they were made. They were staggeringly expensive too IIRC.

EPS, not M10 (the M10 wasn't lugged); but it's either a fake or a naff respray.
