Not that it's my size or anything, but what do you guys say? to me, not worth the effort to try and restore. my guess is SV uses some pretty thin tubes in places, and this rust is so severe that the whole frame is likely shot.

The disclaimer and "washing my hands of this" clause would be enough for me to avoid... The previous buyer sent it in for refinish and repaint, but declined to go ahead with it. That tells me it was either prohibitively expensive, or more likely, that Hot Tubes, after sanding some areas and inspecting, wouldn't guarantee there wouldn't be structural/other hidden issues after refinishing.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT FRAME CONDITION:

I sold this frame a few months ago, the buyer sent it to Hot Tubes for a repaint. After inspection by Hot Tubes, the buyer declined to have the frame repainted and I gave him a full refund including shipping both directions.

Right. At this point it's worth the price of the fork, which is approximately what the starting bid is.
