Columbus max lug sets

I’m aware these are no longer made/available through the usual channels but we’re trying to find max down tube lugs. (Or complete lugsets. )
If anyone knows of any supplier holding or a builder sitting on any that they’re looking to sell please let me know.

Either Columbus/nove etc... whatever they may be.

Thanks !!

Chris Bishop likely has some sets. He did as of about a month ago when I spoke to him about them.

Is MAX ok with fillet brazing? Just wondering. Never loved the oval lugs.

yes, Thats them !

we only really need the downtube lugs, as we have the others. However could be open to buying full lug sets.

I’ve got a fillet brazed Bertoni Max. I don’t have first hand experience, but I’ve read that the Max lugset is quite beefy (and apparently rare), so brazing might be a good option.

Yes.
Fillet-Brazed (Argonaut, Cyfac, Langenberg, etc.);
Lugged (Grandis are beautiful, many others);
or
TIG (Pinarello "Maxim", Somec "ProMax", etc.).

This Max-dedicated blog has some good examples of all 3 methods:
