I owned a Funk "La Ruta" 29er. Extremely lightweight and comfortable. Well-crafted.

I’ve heard these are very beautifully built frames. They are so fringe though that I wonder who buys these things? Other than XXTWINDAD

Purchased the Funk
I purchased the Funk Cycle, hats off to the builder. The fellow who had it custom built put all campy components on it. Would recommend to anyone who gets a chance to try a Funk you will love it. Rides and handles like a charm, also a nice hill climber.

Have not heard that name in a couple decades or more. A friend had a mountain bike back in the early 90's and it was a super cool bike. Had the huge aluminum fork that Darryl made...maybe still does.
Enjoy your new bike. Great stuff. |
