Weird (too me) issue with a front Athena 11 speed shifter

So this is a new to me bike and when I put it back together from shipment I noticed that the inside lever of the front ergo shifter was out of place. The FD cable was not disconnected during shipment and it tight now. It also shifts just fine. But in a relaxed state that inner lever sticks too far out. I've never seen this with any of my Campagnolo or Shimano levers. Is there something that could just be loose, like I suspect?

It's a very minor problem to me but if easily fixable I'd like to do it. I do have a brand new set of Centaur Shifters in my stash I could throw on too I guess.

Here's a pic:

Any ideas?

That does look odd. I only have one 11 speed, 1st Gen Super Record and it’s not like that. I wonder if the paddle was replaced at some point, maybe not the correct one. The paddles are pretty easy to replace.

There is a wee, 1mm, allen bolt that adjusts the shift lever blade..see pic. Same relative place for LH lever. Might be it altho I have never seen a blade that far over. Same on UltraShift, PowerShift Gumby levers.

My Potenza lever did that once & I thought it was broken
So bought a new sub assembly
But while I was waiting I thought I would take a look

It was actually the Torx screw behind the lever had come loose.
I was able to just slack brake cable,(didn't even remove cable)

punch out pin holding brake lever while still on the handlebar & tighten torx screw. Been fine since

It was that Torx screw in this pic. Right behind brake lever ( but you need to remove the lever)

Awesome, thanks all! I'll check both of these.

Got too distracted yesterday by this new pickup to even remember to check this thread.

This place never disappoints for help.

As a "steel is real" guy I like the irony of a carbon fiber bike being made by a company called C4. Since we all know C.F. bikes like to "spontaneously explode"!!

Finally got around to checking this last night. In my case this was not the problem.

I still need to try what Peter suggested. Should find time this weekend to dig back into this.

I've ridden this one a few times like this and it does work just fine.

James I had the same issue ages ago.

Will try to find the thread I had on the subject. I ended up tossing the levers out of frustration, which was a bit dumb since if I recall someone posted a fix on my thread eventually.
