it's not, but I wish the league the best ... it's just not for me. I barely watch the NBA anymore until the playoff at least.

They do play defense, but the players are faster/quicker than ever and rules favor the offense, so defense ends up not looking as great sometimes. This is really obvious to anyone who understands in game strategy.
If you watch the NBA and think everyone is just moving around without a plan, or if you think its 1 person with the ball and 4 standing around, then you need to read up on NBA rules and how teams work to play within the rules while focusing on ones they can exploit to their advantage.
