...ebike you got there!

Okay, this is just an observation I found interesting...

Mrs William and I were out at a local food establishment celebrating our 31st. We sat at an outside patio on a beautiful WA late afternoon to chat and enjoy a good meal. It just happened that over mrs William's shoulder and across the street was a bike rack on the sidewalk that had four ebikes locked up. Two each of whatever brands they were. What surprised me though was how many people stopped and checked them out over the course of our time there. I didn't count but I would guess that over the course of an hour or so about 20+ random people actually stopped to gawk at them. One guy even went so far as to try lifting one to see how heavy it was.

In general most people ignore bikes locked up unless they're either theives or bike geeks like most of us here and it's an interesting ride. I will conceed that maybe this area is a little more unusual in that there are a lot of E-vehicles around on the road, and I am seeing more and more on the bike trails and dirt trails.

Mine seems to generate some interest, too. Like the blue one steveandbarb1 posted, it's also an Alchemy eRonin. Custom carbon, Fazua Evation motor, GRX DI2.

Those eRonin bikes are definitely one of the better looking ones out there.
