Always felt he got a raw deal with the Suns. But then again...it's the Suns.

Couple of interesting takes on micro storm surrounding ZWs debut:

https://www.si.com/extra-mustard/202...dy-fat-shaming

https://www.theguardian.com/sport/bl...ming-nba-debut

I didn't see the game. I'm generally not a Mark Jackson fan, either. There's only so many times one can hear "score the basketball." As I've previously mentioned, there isn't a lot of precedent for a player with Zion's build. Perhaps Jackson (and Van Gundy) could have been more diplomatic in their phrasing, given ZWs return from injury. But did their commentary transgress the boundaries of good taste?

Wow. Now the reports are coming in. Geez. Disbelief. Shocking. Just watched LBJ pass his mark on the all-time scoring list. No way.

I'm having a hard time with this, and I don't know why. I've never put athletes on pedestals.

Wow. Stunned. Not a huge hoops fan but Kobe is a legend. Sad day for sure.

Tragic. Despite LeBron passing him in points recently, I’ve way way enjoyed watching Kobe back in his day than LBJ. RIP Mamba.

It's Deadline Day y'all.

I think Houston got worse, unless they have a move to make or know something about Capela's health that we don't. I do admire their "all-in on threes and spacing, **** rebounding" approach though. Shoot your shot, Daryl.

Miami still needs to make another move to be a legit challenger to the Bucks. Gallinari might do it. Iggy is washed - can't believe he merited another 2 years/30M. I love the idea of Justise Winslow with Morant and JJJ.

One of the LA teams is getting Marcus Morris.

Good job by the Sixers getting a little bit of shooting to help space things out. If you're going to play Embiid and Simmons together, everyone else needs to be able to shoot.
