I watch for the scenery and commentary as much as I do the racing. Simply the most beautiful, well covered race on the calendar.

This exactly. Let's be honest, most of a stage is JRA and no action until the last few KM.

as part of my NBC cycling pass subscription last year, I had access to other races before and after the TDF. I tried watching them, but the commentating killed it for me. I was totally turned off by the announcers, they were so boring. Anyway, that's how I remember it.

Greatest race by far with the best teams. I think if you are a cyclist there is strategy to watch on every stage.

The scenery is amazing too.

Gotta get on that Eurosport train. Always fantastic commentary on all races IMO.
