Picked this older Thule T2 on the Milwaukee Craigslist for $50.00, ended up ordering some replacement straps from Etrailer.com and it should be good to go after a facelift this afternoon with a little help from dad.

Looks fantastic! I have the same model and considered doing this. What kind of paint did you use and what parts did you paint?

Took off the all 4 wheel holders and painted everything else. Sanded rust off with drill mounted metal brush and sanded everything with 200grit. Used Rustoleum Implement Black. "provides superior rust protection for tractors, trailers, lawn mowers and other farm implements. Rust-Oleum® Specialty Farm & Implement offers excellent coverage, chip resistance and color retention."

Find of the day, Serfas SBC case, $26 at Goodwill. A little garden hose shower took away the dust, almost as good as new.

Just picked up some some safety items -

I tried helmet mirrors but they just didnt work for me. I just bought this Italian road mirror and I am very pleased - should have gotten it years ago.

Purchased this blitzu rechargeable light and it too is great - very bright - multiple lighting options - states that it will hold a charge for up to 6 hours - on a 2 hour ride today and going strong.

A couple of t-shirts from Patent Wear. I should have chosen a different color for the derailleur one, the writing underneath is black so it pretty much disappears on the green.

Rocky Mountain Growler 40 ... 27.5+ hardtail. So much fun! Been years since I've had a mountain bike.
