eh - I find most of their stuff overpriced, overweight & overrated.
some people seem to love their stuff though - they can worry about it. |

A nice trophy for a wealthy avid cyclist.

Definitely some overpriced items in their lineup, but their AM30 wheelset has been both excellent performing and a good value for me.

All companies are just tradeable commodities now. I'm in healthcare and the game is to build a few offices and sell them to a small equity. They buy more offices and then flip it to the bigger equity, and so on, and so on. Actually taking care of customers or improving products is a thing of the past. Reduce overhead, streamline processes, make the bottom line 'look' better and sell it fast.

Didn't say it, but defiantly thought it!

And now the buyer appears to be a local and a customer who has a genuine interest in their products. I have no idea if they will do well or poorly under the new ownership, but available evidence does not suggest that the new ownership is only interested in trying to make the company appear more profitable so they can sell it to a bigger investor.

The only product I've had from them was a Fork, and it was a great fork.
I think they handled a lot of the issues around hookless carbon rims extremely poorly and their defenses of the issues with their rims were extremely tone deaf at their price points. That lack of rigor and placing their interests above potential customer safety issues makes me extremely reluctant to trust them when any purchase would be so high dollar. |

The cycling industry is full of things with poor value propositions.

Well it's hard to be competitive on price if the company has to pay back debt that was assigned to it by the owner after the owner borrowed the money to buy the company in the first place.
No idea if that happened with ENVE or will take place with the new acquisition but it seems to happen a lot with PE. |

If one rides an Enve bike wearing Rapha clothing, what happens to the Earth's axis?

Just because the subject is ENVE, it was the first time I've ridden their A/R bars and found them …*curious. The flats are really small, and with the bars set so that the flats were level the drops had a slight uptilt to them -- do all ENVE bars have that? Definitely didn't feel right in the drops, had to move my hands a bit closer to the bends to be comfortable. |

I thought I felt a disturbance in the Force. No wonder!
