I've been having front wheel problems on my bike. Do you think I need larger tires?

Why do think a new rim is warranted? Just because it has a new hole in it? It already has 33 bigger holes (32 spokes plus a valve stem) why would one more smaller hole make a difference? Heck, this new hole doesn't even have to support spoke tensions, like the spoke holes do.

Good thing you had a T25 on your multi tool or you may never have removed that deck screw.

For the same reason I think the collapsible brooks helmet is a bad idea.
Enjoy those drillium rims!

Put a roofing nail all the way through an Open4CD rim just about equally spaced between two eyelets. Peened the hole shut and rode if for another few years until it cracked at a different and probably unrelated spot.

I rode my Ksyriums a few thousand miles after the same thing happened to me. No problem!

Cool

i'd deburr both holes and put a little rubber buttplug in both with a bit of grease if that rim was mine...

Who rides 24 spoke rear aluminum wheels? Seems silly.

That said, I'd ride it until it dies.

^They're more aero and comfy (if you weigh under 170).

Fair enough. I guess this 130lb climber just usually goes for supreme durability in his aluminum training wheels.

All of this talk of a Moots without any pictures...can you fix that for me?
