I don't have enough miles on it to have an exhaustive opinion, but from a ride perspective, based on a handful of shortish rides, it's certainly in the same league as my others. It has a wonderful jump when you get out of the saddle, it easily passed my no hands down hill at 35+ mph test, it fits perfect, as close to that "disappears beneath you" sensation that folks speak of that I've experienced, and I know who made it and just how much work was put into it. This is not to take away at all from any of the other wonderful hand built bikes I have been lucky enough to have; just sayin' this is a good one. I I left everything about the design up to Tom based on my fit numbers from my ti bike and a description of what I was after. I trust that TK can design stock steel frames.

That’s a super looking bike.
Glad I could help along the way.

Yeah, I have an Agilis and an Extralight which made me a lifetime fan of TK. The pricing is a bit steep, but we should realize it's not standard 4130 chromoly, this is Reynolds 725 which is heat treated. I think that's partly where the higher pricing is coming from.

I am going to have trouble un-seeing that....

My 97 TiSuperXL I decided to keep and not release will have to continue to suffice.

No disrespect to TK but Ritte is a dud. Sorry.

For you. If I didn't already have one of Tom's all-road creations in steel, I'd certainly be interested, just because of what I've experienced with the design and materials choices. The geometry dimensions are so close to what he built for me, and it's by far the best handling and fitting bike I've ever owned. And the design far eclipses any of the rest of the package (cable routing, funky head tube, paint etc- who cares?)

like it a lot

This offering checks all the boxes for me, disc, thru axle, tapered ht, slick looking internal routing, and spot on geometry. I really like this fully modern steel aesthetic. But the price is prohibitive for me.

I hope to see more offerings from other brands along the same lines rather than copycat carbon.

I can't say that I'm a fan of the aesthetics. Especially the bottom bracket area.

Looks cool to me and certainly well thought out. If this were 1995 and Keith Bontrager designed this it would be "bomber" and "baller" and all sorts of other superlatives. I also think that silver combined with an overly lit photo probably skews things a bit?

You might think differently.
