Just added the new ruthworks saddle bag and the Sram Force AXS wide cassette and derailleur. Still waiting on the new Enve AR bars to arrive.

Power Mirror saddle? Thoughts? Best thing ever? I've been considering one.

It is the Power mirror saddle and it's rather fantastic. A perfect bit of bounce on gravel roads. Good luck finding one. They are currently selling for over $600 on ebay.

Indeed they are, got lucky with the headset... and the BB just had to come along with it a few weeks later.
The first ride with the refresh was a delight, unfortunately, those gravel kings did not hold up to my local trails. Was I shredding that hard? Tore a knob bit a little, but enough that even a fresh layer of sealant couldnt plug it up.

Here's my 2018 Raleigh Willard. I'm picking up some 650b wheels this week and wondering if anyone knows what the biggest size tire I can run is? Thanks!

Another Ruthworks brevet! This was a Bianchi Project 3 found locally then upgraded to some sram. These were cool lugged Hybrids- very long 58 tt ( I usually run a 55) hence the short crust quill stem. The result is a long front end that feels great and stable. Bonus no toe overlap and I can now run a feedbag without it my knees hitting.
the project was relatively inexpensive and a blast to pedal Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I made it out on two nice gravel type rides this weekend.
The first was a mix of road and wooded trails. It was pretty damp, so I threw some cross tires on the Kirk for some extra traction. The second was a bit more leisurely, so I took the Ellis randonneur out on some dirt roads. Between the tubing used, supple 35's, and leather contact points, this is such a smooth ride. I hit a string of relatively unavoidable dirt road potholes and just chuckled to myself at how little affect they had. An unkempt lot with swings on an overcast day seems proper for the Halloween season. |
