I like that basket, but I think it should be called a gondala. Expect a package from me - I sent you a Chihuahua to ride in the navigator position.

My only thought on this is old pro mechanic's tip don't clamp the frame by the top tube because you might accidentally bend it

I love this thread. I've been thinking about doing the same thing with a Colnago frame I have but no longer use as my primary road bike. I've got some French, Italian, and MUSA parts for a sort of Colnageaux. Just gotta find some brakes; maybe Mafacs are long enough.

This is what a couple hundred years ago was known as an Italian with the French disease.
