I saw a Signal and a Chapman on the internet last week....

So, I've spent the last few days re-prioritizing my bikes, and I think I'm going for the good 'ol fashioned hoe'in out to get funds for something special.

Really leaning towards Chapman (a northeast based builder is important to me). Giddyup

Well, these look familiar. Joel's bi-lam is what sold me on him when I was looking for a custom. The green bike on his album is awesome.

Hey that does look familiar. Did not know he had cut that pattern before. Nice bi-lam! Nice ride!

Yeah, Joel had been building LD stems for me for a couple of years so I got to know his design approach and followed his work. When I wanted my second custom built and wanted to work with someone both local and with someone who is open to building a variety of designs, he was a natural choice.

Plus I like that he designs with a front center determinant approach.

It's an interesting aesthetic and I do appreciate the boldness but not for me.
There is something about the shape that I don't like. it's beautiful up close but when viewed as a whole it takes away some of the clean lines of the bike and does in fact make it looked webbed. Reminds me of webbed fingers (not that there is anything wrong with that but not something I would choose).
