Doh! Mine didn't make the cut...

Guess I'll have to send you some good pics once it is built up and on the road, then you can do a whole blog post about it.

Yours and many others will be coming in the next round. But please send built pictures when you get a chance.

Hey Dave,

Why are the Terraplane stays joined with a fastback seat cluster? I've not seen side-tacked Terraplane stays. Is that style? Function? Secret family recipe?

So Dave, what brand of pixie dust do you sprinkle on these frames of yours?

I'd like to improve my other bikes, but Amazon doesn't sell magic additives.

Good eye.

Yes you are correct - the Terraplane stays are always fastback at the top. I do them all this way because I want that joint to be in compression on the Terraplane and not in shear with a twist added.

Frankly the side tack 'might' work and be fine but I know for sure that the fastback does .............. and since I back them up for life I go with what I know works and works well.

Dust.........what dust?

Actually the dust is proprietary and is built in from the start and it can't be added after the fact.

I could tell you why this is but it's super technical and I'm the only one that would understand my cryptic explanation. No offense.
