Yeah I saw that, but figured my job was to just out the bike, not apply a price filter or discourage others from negotiating a better price. I skimmed the guy's other listings which all skewed pretty high. Perhaps those are just starting points, and he expects to negotiate.

Tall, 1978 Trek 730 frame on Milwaukee CL

A fairly rare combination, I think: big size, early production, decent shape.

That's been on and off sale for about three-four months. Was kicking the tires but decided to stay with the Look.

Charles Nighbor outed this on BOBishBikesFS. Yowzers, but that is a TALL bike. The seller shows an almost 39-inch standover in the last photo, but says nothing specific about the measurements. I'm guessing 70-70cm seat tube. I hope that's a big old chunk of dirt on the seat tube, and not a big old chunk of rust...

Interesting frame. What is that black blob of a fork? (Proving that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, that would be the first thing to go in my mind.)

Seller is including original fork also.

I'm 6'2 and ride a 58. I personally would consider 60cm and bigger as....well....'big'. To each his own though.

Sure, that's why I asked about the black thing. In my mind, the frame would be much less interesting without the original fork.
