It's been on eBay for several days. Is the price just so-so?

I could not discover much about it with Google. Nuovo Record RD. I'd have to take a peek at it to see what else it's made of.

Thoughts?
Unless the price on something is insane or the buyer is already specifically looking for that bike it is unlikely to sell fast.

Bikes that are priced for their history rather than their functionality are hard to sell.

Basically - take very little stock in old bikes being up for a long time. Pay what you think is fair or pass on it.

Rossin Miele

Seller sent me more details:
Yes, 700c wheels. I’m not sure what originally came with it though. Wheels are Matrix Titan. Hubs are Shimano 600.

I’m not sure on the handlebar manufacturer. Couldn’t see anything stamped.

Shifters are Campagnolo. Brakes and levers are Modolo.

Pretty firm on the price. I also have it listed on eBay, so I just relist it. I would rather not have to bother shipping though. Thus the listing on CL.

I attached some more pictures. Someone on ebay asked about the paint, if it was original and what happened to the rest of the stickers. Looks like original paint. Got pictures of where I assume the other stickers were.
Pictures here.

^ The Merckx looks to be a bit small for the seller.

No, thought too long... Would have fit me perfectly, but didn't really need it.

Gawking at this Chris Kvale yesterday distracted me from that MXL -- I think I'd rather have the Kvale.. The lugwork looks exceptionally nice - as does the repaint.

Do it, that's beautiful and to find a predominantly SL frame in this size is a bonus. After years of SP and SPX frames that were uninspiring slugs, I came across a Merckx with the same tubing configuration as this. It's a wonderful ride (it planes).

My 90s version would clear a 26c GravelKing... threadless reissues take it up a notch and fit 28s!

Seller says it has a 5.8cm BB drop, confirmed by Kvale - was built for a gent who raced crits with 180mm cranks and was concerned about cornering clearance...

It's gorgeous, but I'm not looking for a crit bike. If it was a more standard Kvale with classic geo, I'd be all over it since I love that color and the finish work.
