AM,
Very cool and very special for your family. Should be very drinkable in 2020 when she's 21.

Your fabrication skills may be exceeded by your photography skills. Great work on another great build.

In reference to the yellow-trimmed cross bike above, are you guys working on a Firefly low mount disc dropout, or will you stick with the standard Paragon offering?

Our plan for the low mount situation is to give it a little time. We are closely watching the developments in road disc technology to see what pans out. I think the technology is close, but not quite there yet. Road bike frames are different than mountain bike frames and either the dudes behind the curtain designing the stuff are going to take that into account or they are going to continue to pretend that they are making brakes for mountain bikes. The current mounting situation built into the brakes is still a little funky. If they ever ask me I have a great idea for them that would make things way better....

We have been talking with our design engineer about a proprietary low mount option for a few months now and have some thoughts, but as I said, we are giving it some time... and.... we have been spending much of our extra time working on a very intense new project that is going to blow some minds!

Interesting... I was going to say throw your idea out on the web in hopes that an engineer with one of the component manufacturers might come calling, but then again maybe you should think about a patent?
