Bixxis or Crisp ti. Why? Ti continues to intrigue me and I have steel covered already (but if steel then Kirk with straight seatstays or Ellis if I wanted all steel with steel fork or Hampsten. Levico or Il Barone). Bixxis - History, experience and reputation; doesn't use the ugly 44mm beer can headtube, prefering smalled shaped diameter out of 6/4 ti. Crisp - his aesthetics really speak to me - very, very clean lines.

Because almost all new top of the line mass produced frames have disc brakes. The best wheels and most recent technology in wheels are disc wheels.

Six pack headed your way Mike if the OP buys anything other than a rim brake steel frame.

Lol he just asked what we would do. Everyone has different priorities. My priorities are to have the fastest lightest most comfortable stiffest road bike with the highest performance drivetrain and brakes.

I’d probably get a Sachs or a Kirk. I’ve been brainwashed by this forum.

If you were fully brainwashed you'd have both a Sachs and a Kirk, and still want more.

well, it depends on the degree of brainwashing.
i have been brainwashed enough to know that i want a kirk. but not brainwashed enough to have already done it.

give me time. and i will get there.
