My friend is well aware of the hole in his vision, and while I don’t know which specialists he has seen over the past ten months, he is well aware that this is brain related, and what that means with respect to approach. He’s not driving, because he realizes what he can’t see. Part of the fairly rapid rate of recovery he has experienced is related to his fitness and the regular exercise he has had with cycling and other sports, which is good news for anyone on this forum. Nonetheless, his stroke has produced not uncommon complications, which now become part of his life. If his friends can implement ways to help, part of ours too.
Thanks to this group for all your advice, suggestions and experience. |

Maybe something like this would be of help:
https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/698001 Maybe more valuable than a mirror as the garmin device that displays the information can be mounted where your friend can get the input with the least amount of distraction. |

Mirror
WRT a bigger mirror, I am a fan of the efficient velo helmet mounted one - bigger, infinitely adjustable and stays in place — plus I look like a steampunk…
https://www.efficientvelo.com/tools/...-helmet-mirror Sorry your friend is going through this — I dread the day I can’t ride… |
